The AIDS Bicycle Cruise forms a 20 mile red-ribbon shaped loop through the city that will begin and end in the Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park. The route features each of the supported AIDS service organizations and stops every few miles for complimentary food and beverages, live music, and more!
Below is an overview of the route. Be sure to stop at all routes. Those that do will be entered into a raffle at the Post Ride Celebration in the Park!
Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park
Former Mayor Berkley helped transform much of downtown Kansas City, so much that this park is named in his honor. Help us transform the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS in our hometown by beginning your AIDS Bicycle Challenge. The park will serve as the starting and ending point of the ride. Registration will open at 11 am in the Riverfront Park in front of the Pavilion. Parking is available along the street or in the Riverfront Park parking lot (access off of 3rd Street).
AMC in the Power & Light District
AMC is the king of movies. Let the ABC volunteers treat you like a star.
Good Samaritan Project (a beneficiary of ABC)
The Good Samaritan Project has provided advocacy, care and education to those affected by HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases since 1985 Stop, refresh and learn more about the services the Good Samaritan Project provides to those living with HIV/AIDS in our city.

The Brookside Neighborhood is a metropolitan hub of beautiful homes, unique shops, trendy restaurants, and cultural attractions. Get acclimated with Brookside while sipping on an iced coffee courtesy of The Roasterie. (This is the "pinch" in the ribbon! Feel free to stop by this route stop on the way out and back into the park)

Family Bicycles in Waldo
Family Bicycles knows bicycles. And how to throw a good party at this Waldo route stop. Stop, grab a glass of wine, enjoy live jazz by David Creaton Project and gear-up for the next route stop on the AIDS Bicycle Challenge.
Hope Care Center (a beneficiary of ABC)
Hope Care Center is one of only two facilities in North America that provides skilled nursing exclusively to those living with HIV/AIDS. This half-way point stop at Hope Care Center will let you learn about their mission and will entertain you with pizza, snacks, Boulevard Beer, live music by Big Johnson and more!

Stop by the parking lot behind Bistro 303 for a glass of blackberry cider and enjoy one of Chef Paul Mullins delicious mini-blueberry cheesecakes while enjoying the live talent's of well-known Kansas City jazz artist Heather Thornton.

One of those services is confidential HIV Testing. Stop by the Kansas City Free Health Clinic to learn more about the services provided and supported by the funds raised by the AIDS Bicycle Challenge.

This is where it all started...the AIDS Bicycle Challenge 2011 route that is. Park your bikes and come to the park for one of the best Post-Ride Celebrations around! Food, drink and live music by Mid Life Crisis will be plentiful.
