AIDS Bicycle Challenge 2010 - September 12, 2010

UPDATE! The VIP Tent Competition ENDS AT NOON ON SATURDAY! The team with the most participants and the team that raises the most funds will have their own VIP tent on Sunday! But remember, the competition closes at noon on Saturday so sign your members up today and create those fundraising pages!

Join us for the sixth annual AIDS Bicycle Challenge on Sunday, September 12th, beginning and ending in the Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park along the scenic Missouri River! You can choose from four different routes including a 50, 35, 16 and 2 mile route. In addition, all participants will enjoy a festive Post Ride Celebration after the event which includes free food from Spin Pizza, Jimmy Johns, burgers, brats and free Miller Lite!

Registration for all routes is $25 if registered by 5 pm on Saturday, September 11th and $30 after. Kids 10 and under ride free on the 2 mile route.

7 am Registration Opens

7:30 am 50 Mile Ride Begins

8:30 am 35 Mile Ride Begins

9:30 am 16 Mile Ride and 2 Mile Ride Begins

After Party begins when riders begin returning (approximately 10:30 am)

Waxy O'Sheas Registration Party! - August 17, 2010

Join us for a second round kick-off party for the AIDS Bicycle Challenge on Monday, August 23rd at Waxy O'Sheas (Shawnee Mission Pkwy and Quivira Road)! Free appetizers, drink specials (black and tans) and chance to win some cool door prizes if you register for ABC that night or are already registered for ABC.

VIP Tent for Top Teams - August 5, 2010

Want a VIP tent for you and your team on event day? The top fundraising team and the team with the most participants will have access to a private VIP Tent at ABC! VIP tent will include special food, beverages and SWAG items. Get those wheels turning and make sure your team is VIP on September 12th!

Summer Breeze official ABC Training Ride - August 2, 2010

Please join us for an ABC Training ride at Summer Breeze on Sunday, August 29th! Summer Breeze is a 45, 70 and 100 mile ride produced by the Kansas City Bicycle Club. While at Summer Breeze you will be able to register for the sixth annual AIDS Bicycle Challenge. More information is available here!

ABC Kick-Off a hit! - July 14, 2010

The AIDS Bicycle Challenge Kick-Off Party was a huge success! Over 75 riders, volunteers and spectators attended for a training ride, to hear remarks from State Senator Jolie Justus and for great food and drink! Many thanks to all who attended. Training Rides - June 24, 2010

Don't forget! Weekly training rides are happening each Monday at 6:30 pm, beginning and ending at Family Bicycles at 7140 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO. There are two rides--one for beginners and one for more experienced riders. Hope to see you there!
